Discover Your Gifts. Live Into Your Calling.

God has placed you in this time and place for specific reasons. He has given you spiritual gifts, a unique way of operating, as well as ministry passions, so you can join Him in His important work both in the church and in the world!

This five-tool journey is not for entertainment, but is an investment. Unlike a quick personality quiz you take for fun, this requires an investment of time (about 90–120 minutes in total) to discover important aspects of how God made you. You’ll reflect on past experiences, personality traits, and ministry styles, while also inviting trusted friends to complete a brief assessment on your behalf, so you can receive an integrated report which is a great starting point for future discussions to learn even more. We’re here to walk with you through the process and to help you discern any next steps.

Tool 1 | Spiritual Gifts | Learn From Past Experiences

What do your past experiences or interest in future opportunities reveal about your spiritual gifts? This first tool is foundational and your responses begin the overall picture of this journey.

Tool 2 | Spiritual Gifts | Learn From Your Personality

Is it possible that God designed you with a personality that compliments your spiritual gifts?  The Bible tells many stories where God gives people a temperment or uses their temperment to complement their calling and gift set. Continue to discover how God designed you with this second tool.

Tool 3 | Spiritual Gifts | Learn From Others’ Perspectives of You

How do others see you? What do they recognize as the gifts God has given you? While this gift doesn’t weigh as heavily as the first two, it can affirm and confirm how those on the outside perceive your gifts. Consider asking 1-3 people familiar with you and spiritual gifts to take this assessment.

Tool 4 | Optimal Ministry Settings | Learn the Ministry Context Where You Thrive

We’ve looked at how God has gifted you, and now we move to consider how God has wired you. Often times spiritual gifts may be used in a myriad of ways and contexts. Learning your “wiring” may give insight into the kinds of settings where you will find your sweet spot in serving in ministry.

Tool 5 | Ministry Passions | What You Want the Gospel to Impact (IMPORTANT: Coach Interaction Needed for Full Results)

In this final tool, we move from how you are gifted and wired, to this final idea of what burdens has God given you in this life? What are you most passionate about? While the other tools are multiple choice and ranking, this final tool is mostly short answers. We can give a quick summary of this assessment 1-3 days after you finish completing it, but we believe a short informal meeting to discuss this tool can produce more fruit. See the final step below.

Next Steps | Setup a Time to Discuss All Your Results with a Coach

While we can return a summary of the above tools in a virtual form, the leadership of the church would love the opportuntity to discuss this tool, along with the rest of the tools, with you over a brief informal meeting. We believe that when people use the gifts they’ve been given, in a way that they’ve been wired, in an area they are passionate about, that they both flourish in ministry, but also meaningfully contribute to the work of God.
